The Exhibition Space

Architects Ángela Juarranz and Sara Miguélez explain their museographic approach for this exhibition: to divide the exhibition space into three. The first space houses the documentation related to the exhibition, dominated by the tension between the artists and the museum; the second space houses the 18 works, one for each artist, in a transitional space that is not a workshop, nor a museum, nor a gallery, but which has components of all three; and the third space houses the catalogue and part of the photographic report in which the famous photograph was taken.
