Digital musicology

Case study. The study carried out by the Library of the Fundación on the Spanish musical theatre digital collection: tests, trials, improvements

To give a small idea of our experience with MusicXML, we have chosen to include a link to a file in this code so that any user can download it, listen to it and perform it with his or her own collection of virtual instruments.  These files were published directly in Sibelius (MusicXML compatible) and represent a tiny part of the wealth of music available on the website.  However, we wanted to associate them with the project to show what would be possible if OMR applications improve substantially in the next few years.  These seven fragments are accompanied by the digitised scores and the fragments published in Sibelius.
